A letter from your care team
You’ve been given the DormoVision X™ system because your care provider wants you to have the most comfortable, accurate, and stress-free sleep study possible.
DormoVision X™ is a wireless sleep study system that allows you to complete a full clinical sleep test right in your own home. Unlike traditional tests that can involve a tangle of wires, sensors, and an overnight stay in a sleep lab, this system is designed to be simple, gentle, and easy to use.
Your provider selected DormoVision X™ because:
- It delivers high-quality clinical data that helps your care team better understand your sleep and overall health.
- It’s more comfortable and less stressful, especially for children, thanks to soft materials, no wires, and no nasal cannulas.
- Our Patient App guides you through the entire process step-by-step, so you always know exactly what to do.
- It supports the full range of sleep tests, meaning your provider doesn’t have to compromise on your care.

Starting the test in the app
Download the app
Download the "Dormotech" app from Google Play or the App Store.
Grant permissions
Open the "Dormotech" app and grant the permissions requested. Follow the on-screen instructions on how to power the units using the plugged-in magnetic charging cable.
Scan QR code
Scan the QR code on the provided card within the DormoVision X™ box or the QR code(s) listed on your device units and complete the survey.
Choose your units
Choose the units in your kit: Head Unit, Chest Unit, and/or Leg Unit.
Power on
Plug the USB charging cable into a power outlet. Begin with the Head Unit and attach the magnetic charging cable and confirm that two red lights appear.
Attach electrodes
Once powered on, open the electrode package and attach 12 electrodes to their points on the head unit. If your kit includes the leg unit, attach 3 additional electrodes to it in the same way.
Remove protective layers
Remove the protective plastic layer from all electrodes.
At this stage, if any unit’s LED is off, reconnect the unit to the magnetic cable to power it back on.
Wearing the head unit
Position the head unit
Now that your device is prepped, remove from the charging cable and position the head unit so the LED lights are centered on the forehead.
Fasten the straps
Start with fastening the top strap around your head, ensuring the electrodes are in contact with your skin and not your hairline. The lower strap can be slightly loose and adjusted for comfort.
Adjust nose section
Adjust the nose section height, if needed, to sit between the nose and mouth using the side straps located on the cheekbones.
Secure the electrodes
Apply gentle pressure to ensure the electrodes are securely attached to the skin.
Wearing the chest unit
Position the chest unit
Position the Chest Unit at the center of your chest, as shown in the image.
Secure with belt
Snap one end of the Chest Unit into the metal button of the belt. Wrap the belt around your chest and connect it to the remaining metal button. Adjust the strap for a secure fit for optimal performance and comfort.
Wearing the leg unit
Position the leg unit
Position the Leg Unit on either lower leg side muscle, as shown in the image. Then wrap the strap around your leg to ensure the electrodes are firmly secured to your skin.
Starting the test
Tap "Start Test"
When you have reached the last step in the app, tap "Start Test." At this point, your sleep study is now live.
DO NOT close the app or tap “Disconnect Device” during the recording. You may minimize the app and turn off the screen.
Keep phone nearby
Ensure the phone used for the test stays in the same room with you during the sleep test.
Need help?
If you encounter any issues, contact your technician for help.
When you wake
In the morning, upon completing your sleep test, tap on “Stop Test” in the app. You can now remove the unit(s).
Wait approximately one minute for the data to be uploaded. Once you receive a confirmation message, you can then close the app.

Iniciar la prueba en la aplicación
Descargue la aplicación
Descargue la aplicación "Dormotech" de Google Play o la App Store.
Otorgue permisos
Abra la aplicación "Dormotech" y otorgue los permisos solicitados. Siga las instrucciones en pantalla sobre cómo encender las unidades usando el cable de carga magnético.
Escanee el código QR
Escanee el código QR en la tarjeta proporcionada dentro de la caja de DormoVision X™ o los códigos QR listados en sus unidades y complete la encuesta.
Elija sus unidades
Elija las unidades en su kit: Unidad de Cabeza, Unidad de Pecho y/o Unidad de Pierna.
Encienda el dispositivo
